Experience the Magic of Living Music!  Experience the Magic of Living Music!
This is the 76th Anniversary of the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra and it is filled with exciting and vibrant music including Ravel’s Piano Concerto, Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2, Bruch’s Violin Concerto, Holst’s The Planets with sound and sight, an evening of Wagner’s romantic opera music, Respighi’s The Pines of Rome, and much more!

Each concert features 60 to 80 highly skilled, professional musicians employed by the Symphony to perform some of the world's finest music. Most of our musicians live in Bakersfield, where many of them teach music.  A portion of the orchestra travels from the Los Angeles area to perform with the Bakersfield Symphony as well as with other symphonies throughout the state.

We hope you will join us for our 2007-2008 76th Anniversary Season!

BSO Mission Statement
