All performers are under the direction of Maestro John Farrer who is in his 36th year as Musical Director of the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra.  The orchestra is a professional orchestra of some 60 to 80 members, 70% of which reside and work in Bakersfield.  Many are affiliated with other orchestras in Southern and Central California.

We hope you will join us for our 2011-2012 80th Season !
